Do you meet guys you think are great and later find yourself wondering if they are players? Have you dated a guy you later found out was one? Are you hoping to avoid dating guys who are only in it for sex, but just aren't sure how to handle it? Players are all around, but identifying who they are isn't always easy to do.

First of all, you need to identify what a player is. It is easy to feel that a player is a guy who doesn't want to be in a relationship with you. However, that just isn't true. A player is someone who pretends he wants a relationship for sex and sex alone. This produces series of short relationships and often dating more then one woman a time.

Real Life Sign #1. He tries to get you in bed right away.

One of the best ways to avoid the dangers of a player is to hold off on a sexual relationship. While most men will pursue you when you do this, a player will pursue a short while and give up for easier women.

Real Life Sign #2. He works hard to "pick you up".

There are a number of pick up lines and a guy who is trying to take you home will often work hard to do so with pick up lines. Most of the time they will be good ones, but you have to learn to identify them.

Real Life Sign #3. He makes you feel like you have to prove yourself to him.

Some guys are very good at making you feel like you have to prove yourself to him. Maybe he gets you to want to prove you are sexy, sexual, beautiful, or even fun to be with. The main thing to remember here is that if he makes you feel bad, you should run.

Real Life Sign #4. He is funny about his phone.

There are several aspects about the phone that can be signs something funny is going on. First off, does he text message or leave and go off to take phone calls. While doing this every now and again isn't an odd thing to do, especially if his work might be responsible, doing it often should send up a warning flag. Does he often "miss" your calls or messages? And finally does he protect his phone with his life? If the answer is yes to any of this questions then he might be a player.

Real Life Sign #5. He does walk the walk.

While it would be nice to walk into a room and know which guys were players and which ones were nice guys, it just isn't that easy. You need to look for signs that he talks the talk and walks the walk. That way you can be sure of his intentions.

While there are a lot of "hints" floating around many don't work in real life or are too simplified and aren't accurate, these five signs that he is a player can help you a lot when it comes to identifying players.
